Jason Plato: Won race one at Donington Park to sit joint top of standings
Jason Plato and Andrew Jordan are locked together at the top of the British Touring Car Championship standings after a thrilling day's racing in round two at Donington Park.
Plato, who won race one, and reigning champion Jordan both have 87 points, while race three winner Gordon Shedden is just a point behind them.
Plato led race one from start to finish, although he spent much of it fending off his MG KX Clubcard Fuel Save team-mate Sam Tordoff, who crossed the line just 0.442 of a second behind him with Jordan third.
However, Tordoff turned the tables on Plato in an incident-packed race two, coming home in front by 1.028 seconds with Gordon Shedden's Honda Yuasa Racing Tourer finishing third.
But it was Shedden who ended the day in a blaze of glory as he passed the BMW of Colin Turkington at the final corner to take race three, with Matt Neal in the Honda Civic Tourer completing the podium line-up.
