Volkswagen's Sebastien Ogier extended his Rally Mexico lead to 33 seconds with victory in the two superspecial stages to complete Friday's action.

Ogier took his stage wins to eight in the 13 so far in the event as he pulled away from second-placed Mads Ostberg in the M-Sport Ford.

Ostberg will begin Saturday's action watching out for third-placed Mikko Hirvonen who is nine seconds behind in his Citroen.

Thierry Neuville lies fourth ahead of Dani Sordo and M-Sport duo Nasser Al-Attiyah and Ken Block.

Chris Atkinson has climbed into the top 10 after problems in the morning and is chasing down Martin Prokop and Benito Guerra.
