Sebastien Loeb: Cutting Rally schedule in 2013
Sebastien Loeb has confirmed his entries for only four races in the 2013 World Rally Championship calendar.
After winning his ninth world title last month, the Frenchman insisted he would drastically reduce his schedule next season.
He will race in Monte Carlo, Sweden, Argentina and his home event in the Alsace region, although he is expected to add two further meetings to his schedule.
The Citroen ace claimed his only Rally of Sweden victory back in 2004, and he is determined to give a better account of himself next year.
"It is a rally, I really want to win on a regular basis," said Loeb, who will compete in a number of GT races before moving to the World Touring Car Championship in 2014.
Loeb's team-mate Mikko Hirvoen intends to start 13 WRC events next season, while Dani Sordo will take in at least 11 races after returning to Citroen.
"It is an immense pleasure to come back to the team," said the Spaniard. "The first tests went really well and I am ready to help Citroen in their quest for new titles. My personal objective is to win my first race in WRC."
