Jari-Matti Latvala extended his lead in Rally Sweden to 23 seconds over fellow Finn Mikko Hirvonen after the penultimate day of running.
The Ford driver, who was 16.8 seconds clear following day one, capitalised when former team-mate Hirvonen, now at Citroen, dropped a handful of seconds in icy conditions.
The second factory Ford of Petter Solberg was over 50 seconds adrift of the lead in third place, while defending World Rally champion Sebastien Loeb ended the day in sixth place.
Saturday saw Ott Tanak claim a maiden World Rally Championship stage win but it was Latvala who dominated the day with four stage wins.
Sebastien Loeb set some impressive pace as he continued his recovery drive after delays from a trip off the road, a spin and a puncture.
Meanwhile, Solberg was able to add half a second to his advantage over Mads Ostberg, meaning a little more than 11 seconds now separates them in their battle for the final podium place.
Once again, drivers further down the order thrived on the final Hagfors stage, with Citroen's newcomers Nasser Al-Attiyah and Thierry Neuville third and fourth quickest, and Patrik Sandell showing well in fifth for Mini as he edged away from Martin Prokop in the battle for eighth.
