Jorge Lorenzo: Looking for a hat-trick of wins at Aragon
Jorge Lorenzo and Marc Marquez head into this weekend's MotoGP round in Aragon confident of victory.
Marquez leads Lorenzo by 34 points in the race for the World Championship with five races remaining, having made the most of his rival's mid-season injury absence to win four races in a row.
But since returning to full fitness, Lorenzo has won the last two races at Silverstone and Misano to move level with Dani Pedrosa, and he is now looking to pile the pressure on.
"I'm really looking forward to going to Aragon because at that track we did a very good test before the Assen Grand Prix," he said.
"In those tests we were the fastest and now we have an even better bike.
"I'm looking forward to getting to know our new level at the circuit. I feel very good physically and also the last Misano test went very well for us, so I'm going to Aragon feeling positive."
But Marquez is not lacking in confidence himself as he looks to become the first rookie champion since Kenny Rogers in 1978.
"We've had good results there in the past two years so I hope to continue this way and we've also been testing there already this year on the MotoGP machine, so we have some data," he said.
"After the race in Misano, we had a good test on the Monday and definitely found some positive settings, so I'm looking forward to trying them out this weekend in Aragon."
