Saturday Fight Night preview

Sky Sports' Fight Night returns on Saturday for the first time this year with a cracking show from the Cardiff International Arena.

Latest Boxing Stories

Darch has only been stopped once and most recently took the promising Hughie Fury the distance, although it will be surprising if he can see out the full six rounds on Saturday night. It is a fight that was postponed from November, when Joshua reportedly suffered a minor arm/shoulder injury. Undercard London's Erick Ochieng starts the rebuilding process down at welterweight against Dale Evans after losing his British title challenge to Liam Smith last year. Evans became known to Sky Sports viewers when reaching the final of Prizefighter a year ago, when he lost to Glenn Foot. He has fought only once since but at 22 could have a decent future in the sport. Chris Jenkins, who went one better than Evans to lift the Prizefighter trophy in 2013, takes on Frenchman Christopher Sebire for the WBC international light-welterweight title. Former European champion Jason Cook will take on fellow Welshman Tony Pace in a fight that will be Cook's last before he retires at the age of 38. The Welsh Area light-welterweight title will not, however, be on the line as Cook has admitted defeat in his battle with the scales.
