Europe claimed victory in the Mosconi Cup with an 11-2 demolition of the USA in Las Vegas.

Europe led 8-2 overnight and won the first three matches of day three to wrap up an emphatic victory.

Niels Feijen potted the winning nine ball and went on to win the MVP award.

Playing alongside Mika Immonen, Feijen wrapped up a 6-4 victory over the United States' Dennis Hatch & Rodney Morris.

Earlier, Darren Appleton and Ralf Souquet had beaten Earl Strickland and Hatch 6-3, before Karl Boyes' 6-4 victory over Earl Strickland put Team Europe within a point of the trophy.

The final two singles matches of the evening were not required.
