Ruby Harrold: Qualified for the all-around and uneven bars final
Ruby Harrold qualified for two finals at the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Antwerp, while Rebecca Tunney and Becky Downie also had successful nights.
Harrold made it through to the final in the all-around, where she will join Tunney on Friday, and the uneven bars, where Downie also made the cut.
Harrold's trademark Zuchold-Schleudern routine earned her a score of 14.600 on the bars, sending her into the individual final.
The strong score contributed to an all-around performance which started promisingly on the floor and vault but ended with a shaky showing on the beam. Her final score of 54.322 gave her 16th place overall.
Downie excelled on the bars, scoring 15.100 - the fourth best effort of the championships. Tunney scored 54.132 for 18th place in the all-around standings, despite falling from the beam.
Harrold said: "I'm really, really happy; just to come here and produce the routines I've been working so hard on in training is brilliant.
"I was quite nervous going in to bars with some pressure on me but I knew what I had to do and managed to compose myself.
"There was more expectation going in to this as I'd done well at Europeans and people were talking about bars so I'm happy I managed to pull through."
