Athletics: IAAF confirm seven failed drug tests at World Championships

Seven competitors failed drug tests at last month's World Athletics Championships in Moscow, the sport's governing body has confirmed.
The seven, including one finalist, have been sanctioned or provisionally suspended by the IAAF.
Ukrainian javelin thrower Roman Avramenko - who finished fifth in his event - tested positive for the steroid dehydrochlormethyltestosterone.
Three athletes tested positive for the blood booster EPO. These were marathon runner Jeremias Saloj from Guatemala, along with race walkers Ebrahim Rahimian of Iran and Ayman Kozhakhmetova from Kazakhstan.
Sprinters Yelena Ryabova of Turkmenistan and Ukraine's Elyzaveta Bryzgina tested positive for banned steroids.
And finally another sprinter - Massoud Azizi from Afghanistan - tested positive for a metabolite of nandrolone.
The IAAF announced in a statement that 538 athletes had their urine tested during the championships in Russia, along with 132 before the event.
