Lorenzo Insigne has generated plenty of transfer gossip this summer, but he insists he remains fully committed to Napoli.

Arsenal are among those to have been heavily linked with an approach for the highly-rated winger.

The 23-year-old has been a regular source of goals and assists in Serie A over the last two seasons, while the 2013/14 campaign also saw him making a mark in European competition.

His efforts have not gone unnoticed, with senior international recognition having also come his way, but Insigne maintains that he sees his immediate future in Naples.

"I’ve always said that I’m flattered by possible interest from big clubs, but I feel good here."

He told a press conference ahead of the new season: “I’ve always said that I’m flattered by possible interest from big clubs, but I feel good here.

“I love this jersey and I want to win things with Napoli. I hope to be able to do that this season. I want to win with the club that is in my heart.

“The aim is to do good things in the Champions League and to challenge for the title.

“We won’t think too much about our opponents, we will deal with us. We will work to grow and compete for the top places.

“At the moment our thoughts are focused on the Champions League play-offs as they will be fundamental to our season.

“We want to be back in the Champions League and must face this challenge at our best.”
