Yorkshire Jets are preparing for their third match in a week as they take on the current Superleague champions Manchester Thunder in Leeds on Friday night.
Anna Carter’s side have faced two tough games on the road with defeat at Surrey Storm on Saturday before a win against Team Northumbria on Monday. The results have left Jets in the top half of the Superleague table going into round four.
Despite the punishing schedule, which has included the usual mid-week training sessions, there are no injuries within the squad for the match against Tracey Neville’s Thunder side, who top this year’s league table with three wins from three.
Last year’s Superleague Roses clash in Leeds was a fierce and tight contest, with Thunder edging it by just one point. The sell-out crowd at Leeds Beckett University in Headingley on Friday will be hoping for a similarly exciting game – but with a different result.
The Sky Sports live match from round three of the Netball Superleague will be Team Northumbria v Loughborough Lightining. You can watch the match live on Sky Sports 3 from 7.30pm on Monday February 23.
Sky Sports will show live action from all 14 rounds of the Netball Superleague as part of the channel’s biggest ever year of women’s sport.
