Netball London Live attracts record-breaking attendance for 2015 event

Netball London Live 2015 has already broken its own UK domestic netball attendance record, with 74 days still to go until the event.

The previous record, set by Surrey Storm in March at Netball London Live 2014, saw 3151 people watch the hosts defeat Hertfordshire Mavericks 52-50 at the Copper Box Arena.

But ticket sales for next year have already moved past 3250, a sign of the sport's growing popularity ahead of the return fixture between the two teams at the same venue on Saturday March 7.

Since the 2015 season ticket launch in October, Surrey Storm have seen an unprecedented level of demand for tickets, with all home Superleague matches played at Surrey Sports Park either sold out or having limited availability.

The Copper Box Arena hosted international netball last week as England cruised past Malawi in the first of a two-match series, winning 68-36.
