The trans-Tasman ANZ Netball Championships 2014 season reached round four last weekend...

In an epic extra-time thriller, the Northern Mystics finally broke the spell of the Adelaide Thunderbirds and racked up their first victory of the season, 71-68, in Auckland.

The Mainland Tactix, including England star Jade Clarke, caused the upset of the season beating the highly-rated Central Pulse 55-53 in Napier.

England shooter Jo Harten's Magic side consolidated their position at the top of the table with an impressive 49-44 win over Melbourne Vixens.

And NSW Swifts showed their character to put their injury troubles behind them and deliver a well-constructed 53-48 win over the Queensland Firebirds in Sydney.
