ZEO Netball Superleague table toppers Surrey Storm and Manchester Thunder could not be separated as they played out a 46-46 draw on Saturday night.

League-leaders Storm led for three quarters before Thunder fought back in the final period to snatch a share of the spoils.

The result keeps Surrey in top spot, one point ahead of Thunder.

Thunder took an early 3-0 lead but Storm took the opening quarter 12-8.

With Thunder struggling in attack coach Tracey Neville made an early change bringing pocket rocket Rachel Henry on at wing attack.

Surrey Storm were playing with confidence and the free-scoring Rachel Dunn helped with into a 23-17 lead at half-time.

Thunder coach Tracey Neville rung the changes at the interval with Beth Cobden replacing Laura Malcolm at wing defence and Sara Hale coming on a goal defence. The changes worked and Thunder moved within two points of their opposition at 36-34 down heading into the final quarter.

Surrey looked set to snatch victory when Tamsin Greenway point them one point to the good, however Helen Housby squared the match with just two seconds remaining.
