Surrey Storm remain one point ahead of their ZEO Netball Superleague rivals after a nail-biting 48-48 draw with defending champions Team Bath on Monday at the Surrey Sports Park.

Player-coach and Sky Sports expert Tamsin Greenway named an unchanged side to face the Somerset outfit, who brought a squad littered with England internationals including Pamela Cookey and Serena Guthrie to the meeting but it was the home side who took a 14-11 lead into the first break.

Storm continued their dominance in to half-time at 30-22 but Team Bath were rejuvenated in Q3. The 2013 champions pulled back and it was a solitary turnover in the final quarter that brought the lead down to just one point, forcing Storm to play out the final 40 seconds with possession netball.

But a mistake in the mid court allowed Bath to drive forward, with England captain Cookey waiting under the net to level the scores at 48-48 on the final whistle.
