Atlanta Hawks claimed a 98-85 victory over top seeds Indiana Pacers to seize a 2-1 lead in Game Three of their first-round play-off series on Thursday night.

The Hawks took on Eastern Conference top seeds having finished the regular season with more losses than wins.

Jeff Teague scored 22 points and Kyle Korver added 20 for the host, who played with confidence and swagger against an Indiana team that were scrambling to regain the kind of form they showed in regular season.

Memphis Grizzlies edged out Oklahoma City Thunder 98-95 to take a 2-1 lead in their series, as Mike-Conley lead their charge with 20 points.

Courtney Lee clinched the win, hitting three of four free throws in the final 10.9 seconds of OT to help the Grizzlies record their 15th straight home win.

Los Angeles Clippers saw off Golden State Warriors 98-96 in their play-off clash.

The third-seeded Clippers had crushed Golden State 138-98 on Monday night to even the best of seven series and they backed that up with a narrow win at the ORACLE Arena in Oakland to take a 2-1 lead.

Los Angeles' Blake Griffin scored 32 points and grabbed eight rebounds while DeAndre Jordan bagged 14 points and 22 rebounds as they bullied and bruised the Warriors to silence the sell-out crowd of 19,596.
