Glamorgan teenager Ruaidhri Smith has been included in Scotland’s squad for their three-match one-day series against Holland in Glasgow.

The 19-year-old Glasgow-born all-rounder replaces Leicestershire's Rob Taylor in the only change to the squad that suffered a 39-run defeat against England last month.

Following the success of the second North Sea Pro Series, which saw four professional teams from both nations compete throughout May and June, Scotland welcome the Netherlands to Titwood for three matches, starting on July 1.

Captain Kyle Coetzer is free to lead the side, while Sussex all-rounder Matt Machan is also called in Grant Bradburn’s first squad as he looks to make a positive start to his reign as Scotland coach.

Leicestershire batsman Peter Mommsen and Somerset all-rounder Josh Davey also leave their counties to join the national set-up, as does Yorkshire seamer Iain Wardlaw.

The three-match series will offer former New Zealand A coach Bradburn a first look at his side after relocating from New Zealand.

Not only will this signal the start of Bradburn’s tenure, but the former spinning all-rounder will also have one eye on next year’s ICC World Cup, which will see him take Scotland to his native land.

"It is both an honour and a privilege to coach Scotland and I am very much looking forward to arriving and rolling my sleeves up in the role,” Bradburn said.

"My initial visit during the England game in May confirmed for me the abundance of talent and skill that we have in the extended Scotland squad.

"I sense a strong desire from the players and staff to continually improve and I look forward to arriving in Scotland with my family over the coming days and setting about building on the significant progress Cricket Scotland has made."

Scotland squad: Kyle Coetzer, Preston Mommsen, Richie Berrington, Freddie Coleman, Matthew Cross, Josh Davey, Alasdair Evans, Majid Haq, Michael Leask, Matt Machan, Calum MacLeod, Safyaan Sharif, Ruaidhri Smith, Iain Wardlaw
