England scrum-half Danny Care is expected to be available for Saturday's second Test against New Zealand.

Care missed England's agonising 20-15 defeat in the first Test at Eden Park after suffering a shoulder injury in an innocuous incident during training.

The 27-year-old sustained the problem when he fell over after stubbing his toe while attempting a grubber kick.

But the Harlequins player has been passed fit and is set to start in Dundein ahead of Ben Youngs.

Joe Marler, Care's Harlequins team-mate and room-mate in New Zealand, confirmed the news on Tuesday.

"Danny's shoulder is good. He says it's back to where it was before he missed a kick and fell over on it," said the prop.

"It was gutting that something as minor as that could make him miss out on the first Test, but he's back fit now and available for selection."
