Victor Dubuisson: Wentworth withdrawal could prove costly
Victor Dubuisson has pulled out of the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth this week because of an ongoing shoulder problem.
The Frenchman, ranked 23 in the world, is still suffering with tendinitis and his place in the field goes to compatriot Gary Stal.
Dubuisson, who is sixth in the Race To Dubai standings and a leading contender for a place in Europe's Ryder Cup team, has not played since withdrawing from the Indonesian Masters last month.
He is, however, hopeful of returning to practice later this week and could play in the Nordea Masters in Sweden next week before heading out to the United States to prepare for the US Open at Pinehurst.
"It is a little better, but I'm still not 100 per cent," Dubuisson said.
