Lancashire's T20 Blast hero Jordan Clark says the squad are 'buzzing' and can't wait to take on Hampshire for a place in the final.

Clark took four wickets, including a triple wicket maiden in the one-run quarter-final win against Glamorgan on Saturday.

The first semi-final will be between Surrey and Birmingham at 11am on 23 August, with Lancashire taking on Hampshire in the second match, starting at 2.30pm. The final will then take place at 6.45pm.

Speaking to Sky Sports News he said: “It’s been a hectic weekend but it’s all worth it to get in the finals.

"I didn’t even realise I got a wicket maiden I was that pumped at the time, I was just thinking of basics trying to hit the top of off-stump.

“To be honest I was thinking more technical, run my fingers down the ball and just try and get it to reverse.

“I remember not being nervous but I look back and I was struggling to breathe to be honest but no I was trying to perform my skills better than they did and luckily we won by one run.

“It’s obviously a great day. All the lads are buzzing so yes I can’t wait.”

Lancashire captain Glen Chapple had nothing but praise for the seamer, saying: “It wasn’t a game where you would bowl a lot of mix up and just try and stop the opposition from hitting the fence,

“It was more a game where you had to take wickets and he came on and he bowled good pace and he bowled very, very straight and got some seam movement and it was great to see.”

Watch the whole of Finals Day live on Sky Sports on Saturday, 23 August.
