Wales' Amy Boulden shot a third-round 69 to share the lead with South Africa's Connie Chen at the Tenerife Open de Espana Femenino.
The 21-year-old from Llandudno and Chen, who also went through in 69 in hot conditions at Golf Costa Adeje, finished the day on nine-under-par.
They led by a shot from Celine Herbin from France, who fired a seven-under 65 to roar into contention.
Scotland's Kylie Walker was in a three-way tie on seven under, with England's Charley Hull a shot further back.
Eight different players led or shared the lead over the course of a hectic day's play, with Chen and Boulden making eagle and birdie respectively on the 18th to sit out in front.
Following a third-straight 69 Boulden, who like Chen is looking for a maiden win on the Ladies European Tour, said: "I played solid again.
"I got off to a rocky start, but managed to hole a few testers on the first few holes to keep me in there. I'm hoping for the same tomorrow or a bit lower. On the back nine I made three birdies in a row which gave a lot of momentum.
"There was a little bit of wind out there but the heat was making it very warm and sweaty. I've been putting myself into contention in most of the tournaments, or the last few, so just hoping the win is around the corner."
