St Helens forward Alex Walmsley could miss the Super League playoffs after he was charged with a grade C offence.
The former Batley prop was sent off for a shoulder charge during Saints' 17-16 defeat at Huddersfield in their final match of the regular season last Friday and has been charged by the Rugby Football League's match-review panel.
Walmsley is not eligible for an early-guilty plea so will appear in front of a disciplinary panel in Leeds on Tuesday. A grade C offence carries a suspension of two to three matches.
St Helens face a qualifying playoff tie against Castleford at Langtree Park on Friday.
Warrington prop Paul Wood will miss his side's elimination playoff against Widnes on Saturday after accepting a one-match ban for striking.
Wood was sin-binned for throwing punches at Wigan forward Eddy Pettybourne during the Wolves' 24-20 defeat at the DW Stadium last Thursday.
Watch the Super League playoffs live on Sky Sports, starting with Wigan v Huddersfield on Thursday evening.
