Widnes forward Willie Isa has been charged with two disciplinary offences following incidents in the Vikings’ Challenge Cup semi-final defeat by Castleford.

The 25-year-old has been charged with Grade B dangerous contact on Tigers player Kirk Dixon as well as a similar offence on Andy Lynch.

Both incidents took place just after an hour of the match at Leigh Sports Village.

Isa does not have the option of submitting an early guilty plea and will face an independent disciplinary tribunal on Tuesday 12 August.

Widnes were beaten 28-6 by Castleford, who will now face Leeds Rhinos in the final at Wembley.
