South Korea’s Inbee Park took a one-shot lead following the second round of the Meijer LPGA Classic after shooting a second successive five-under 66 to move to 10-under 132.

Park made a flying start with three straight birdies after teeing off at the 10th hole at Blythefield Country Club in Michigan.

She then added further birdies on the par-five fifth and eight holes to move to the top of the leaderboard.

The world No 3 won six times last year and took the Manulife Financial in June in Canada for her 10th LPGA Tour title.

Norway’s Suzann Pettersen, who is ranked fourth in the world, is Park’s nearest pursuer on nine under after matching the course record of 64 with eight birdies and only one bogey.

South Korea's Mirim Lee also carded a 64 and is in third place on eight under, with her compatriot Amy Yang a shot further back in fourth after a 67.
