Wigan will be aiming to become only the second visiting team to win at the Stade Gilbert Brutus this season when they take on Catalan Dragons on Saturday.

The French club have won all eight league and cup games in Perpignan since losing at home to Leeds in February.

Following a 58-6 win at London Broncos last time, Wigan currently sit third in the table – two points off leaders St Helens – and Warriors coach Shaun Wane is pleased with his side's preparations for this game.

"We look at away trips positively and extend them as all the players enjoy each other's company," Wane said.

"We went to London for a few days before the game against the Broncos last week and we went to Barcelona on Thursday and are training Friday so hopefully we are in a good frame of mind to play on Saturday.

"The weather conditions are what they are. Even if it is red hot, I expect the players to empty the tank for 80 minutes to do what they need to get us the two points."

The visitors will be without prop Gil Dudson, who begins a three-match suspension after pleading guilty to a shoulder charge in the win over London last time.

Wigan: Bateman, Bowen, Burgess, Burke, Charnley, Clubb, Crosby, L Farrell, Gelling, Hughes, James, Manfredi, O'Loughlin, Pettybourne, S Powell, Sarginson, Smith, Taylor

Catalan: Escare, Pryce, Pomeroy, Oldfield, Elima, Henderson, Lima, Taia, Anderson, Mounis, Pelissier, Whitehead, Millard, Bousquet, Baitieri, Duport, Cardace, Garcia, Williams
