Third-placed Castleford will attempt to record a fourth successive home win against Hull KR when the Robins visit on Sunday.
However, they will have to cope with the losses of both Jake Webster and the suspended Justin Carney if they are to prevail, with coach Daryl Powell recalling Michael Channing and James Clare to try to fill the void.
Daryl Clark and Grant Millington are expected to shake off minor knocks but
Nathan Massey, Ryan Boyle and Dan Fleming are still out.
"This will be another big challenge for us," Powell told Castleford's official website.
"They will see this match as a must win for them in terms of getting in the top eight and that's something we're finding at the moment, last week against Widnes they really came after us.
"We're going to get the same again as Hull KR will come after us and they have good players in all positions. Ben Cockayne is playing outstandingly well at full back with his kick returns and nullifying that threat is going to be important for us."
The last time the East Yorkshire side won at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle was a 24-20 success under the tutelage of Justin Morgan in February 2010 and current coach Craig Sandercock will hope that his team can complete a hat-trick, after victories against Hull FC and London in the past fortnight.
Hull KR are without prop Jason Netherton and centre Liam Salter, while there
are doubts over wingers Dave Hodgson (calf) and Craig Hall (hamstring).
Scrum-half Kris Keating has overcome a thumb injury.
The Robins also go into the game boosted by the news that promising forward Jordan Cox has signed an extension to his contract that will keep him at the club until the end of 2016 and Sandercock has named a strong squad that he hopes will keep the pressure on Warrington and Widnes as the clubs jostle for play-off prominence in the second-half of the campaign.
