Wigan Warriors head coach Shaun Wane is hoping his treatment room will be significantly lighter ahead of Thursday's mouth-watering clash with Huddersfield.

Wigan have been threadbare squad wise in recent weeks, although to the credit of Wane's men they have pulled off wins over Leeds and Salford in their last two outings.

Captain Sean O'Loughlin, Liam Farrell, Ben Flower and Eddy Pettybourne all missed out against the Red Devils, but the quartet are in the frame for Thursday's televised clash on Sky Sports.

"We'll have a few players filtering back into the team over the next two weeks," Wane told the Wigan Evening Post.

Hopeful

"We'll have a better idea later in the week, but we're hoping Lockers, Faz, Eddy and Ben will be okay for Huddersfield."

The Giants have a good recent record against the Warriors in Super League, claiming a 24-8 success at the DW Stadium to open the new 2014 season.

However, Paul Anderson's men were put to the sword against St Helens last Friday, suffering a heavy 41-22 loss at the hands of the high-flying Saints.

You can see if Wigan maintain their winning run on Thursday when they take on Huddersfield Giants at the John Smith's Stadium on Sky Sports 1 HD from 7.30pm
