Luke Robinson: Wary of a St Helens backlash on Friday

Luke Robinson is aware that St Helens will be a tough proposition on Friday when Huddersfield travel to Langtree Park.

The Giants' scrum-half knows that the hosts will be keen to bounce back from their dismal performance over Magic Weekend at the Etihad Stadium where Warrington hammered Saints 41-24.

Huddersfield face a difficult run of fixtures, with three of the next four featuring games against Wigan, Leeds and first of all St Helens.

And Robinson said: "These are the games we want to test ourselves in and obviously for our league position too.

Decent run

"We're on a decent run at the moment so it would be nice to continue that and keep climbing up the ladder.

"St Helens started very well this season to be fair but they have taken a little dip recently.

"I think after their game at the weekend their senior pros and coach sounded pretty dejected so I'm sure they will come out all guns blazing.

"It's going to be a very tough game but we're confident."

You can see how Luke Robinson and the Huddersfield Giants do against St Helens at Langtreee Park on Friday live on Sky Sports 3 from 7.30pm
