The Dragons welcome back prop Mickael Simon for the clash, with Elliott Whitehead missing out after picking up an injury in the Challenge Cup defeat to Bradford last time out.
Thomas Bosc was named in the provisional squad for the Bulls match but did not play due to injury and has not recovered in time for the visit of Salford. Fellow half-back William Barthau took his place and is set to deputise again.
Salford have also made two changes to their squad, bringing in Adam Walne for his brother Jordan, who failed to make the match-day selection in the Challenge Cup loss to Widnes in any case.
The other change for the visitors sees Michael Platt replaced by Danny Williams.
Salford are on a run of three straight defeats under new coach Iestyn Harris but experienced forward Harrison Hansen says performances will improve with time.
Test
"I'm look forward to getting some good weather and the chance to walk on the beach but the real test is the match," Hansen said of the trip to the south of France.
"It's been a tough period. Since Iestyn came in, he's tried to implement a few things and it's really about kicking out the bad habits.
"It's not going to be a quick fix and people have just got to be patient. The way we are trying to play, it's going to take a good six weeks to see it turn around.
"The things that we were doing in training probably weren't up to scratch and the bad habits have been creeping in game by game but, once we get them out of our games, we'll be doing some good stuff. It's gradually coming.
"Obviously I had Iestyn at Wigan and I knew what he would bring to the squad and the rest of the players are getting used to that.
"He's been great. He's brought some new ideas and the intensity in training has lifted a level. Once we get used to training at that intensity, we will look to replicate it in games."
Catalan squad: Escare, Pryce, Pomeroy, Oldfield, Elima, Taia, Anderson, Barthau, Maria, Pelissier, Millard, Pala, Simon, Bousquet, Paea, Baitieri, Duport, Garcia, Guasch.
Salford squad: Chase, Eden, Fages, Gleeson, Griffin, Hansen, Hock, Lee, Meli, Morley, Mullaney, Puletua, Rapira, Sa'u, Smith, Tasi, Tomkins, A Walne, Williams.
