Saints have suffered back-to-back league defeat in Super League and exited the Tetley's Challenge Cup with a 32-12 loss to Leeds Rhinos on Saturday.
However, Nathan Brown's men will have an excellent chance of collecting the points at Langtree Park against a side who have yet to win a competitive game in 2014.
The Broncos, who were totally rebuilt during the close season, sit at the foot of the table with 10 league defeats from 10 outings having lost to Hull FC 40-4 on Easter Monday.
St Helens recall stand-off Lance Hohaia, with Jon Wilkin reverting to the pack and Josh Jones switching to centre in place of the injured Jordan Turner (foot).
With Kyle Amor joining forwards Willie Manu and Anthony Laffranchi on the injury list, there are call-ups for Mark Flanagan, Anthony Walker, Andre Savelio and Carl Forster, who spent a month on loan to London earlier this year.
Broken foot
"Jordan played the latter part of the first half and all the second half with a broken foot," Brown told the St Helens Star.
"So (Turner) is going to be no good for a couple of months. Kyle is seeing the specialist, but it is not going to be good news."
London are set to give James Cunningham his first start at hooker in the absence of the suspended Scott Moore, while Denny Solomona is set to switch from centre to full-back following the loss of Nesi Mataitonga with a hamstring strain.
Centre Jordan Atkins is back after missing the last seven games through injury and Joel Wicks is added to Tony Rea's 19-man squad.
"It was good to get some training into us particularly at the back end of last week when a lot of the teams were involved in the cup," said Rea. "It was pretty handy given that Scott's out, Nesi's injured and Jordan was coming back."
"They've been a really consistent side and have been playing really well in every game. There will be no soft thinking from them or us going into the game."
St Helens: Lomax, Makinson, Jones, Swift, Hohaia, Walsh, Masoe, Roby, McCarthy-Scarsbrook, Soliola, Wilkin, Flanagan, Walmsley, Percival, Greenwood, Walker, Thompson, Forster, Savelio.
