Wigan have made five changes to their squad for the Super League clash with Bradford at the DW Stadium on Easter Monday.

Coach Shaun Wane has to cope without injured trio Iain Thornley, Eddy Pettybourne and Ben Flower, who all picked up knocks in the victory over St Helens on Friday.

Wane has also decided to rest full-back Matty Bowen and half-back Blake Green for the visit of the Bulls.

Ryan Hampshire, Anthony Gelling, Sam Powell, Ryan Sutton and Connor Farrell are brought in to replace the absent quintet.

"There will be a few changes, I need to play Sam Powell and Gil Dudson and people like that so one of my halves (Green) won't play," Wane told Wigan's official website.

"We will go into Monday's game really confident after the win on Friday. I will put a team out that will be really competitive because I don't want any slip ups on Monday. I want the two points.

"Bradford got beat by Leeds at home so they will be coming to Wigan looking to get back on track. They always put up a spirited performance on and we will not be taking them lightly. I have some players itching to play in this one."

Bradford coach Francis Cummins has also made a number of changes following his side's heavy defeat to Leeds on Thursday night.

Half-back Adam Brook and front-rower Sam Bates could make their debuts, while hooker Nathan Conroy and back-row forwards Oliver Roberts and Alex Mellor have also been drafted into the 19-man squad.

Adam Sidlow, James Donaldson and Matty Blythe are all out after being injured in the loss to the Rhinos. Jamie Foster is also out through injury, while Dale Ferguson is not included in the squad this time.

Wigan squad: Bateman, Burgess, Clubb, Dudson, C Farrell, L Farrell, Gelling, Goulding, Hampshire, Hughes, James, McIlorum, O'Loughlin, S Powell, Sarginson, Smith, Sutton, Taylor, Williams.

Bradford squad: Bates, Henry, Olbison, Purtell, Gale, Kear, Fakir, Walker, Roberts, Mellor, Brook, Wood, Conroy, Manuokafoa, Addy, Gaskell, Bridge, Kearney, O'Brien.
