Twinlight faces just two rivals as he bids to get back to winning ways in the Paddy Power Your Local Betting Shop Chase at Naas on Sunday.

The French-bred started the season in scintillating fashion with impressive victories in the Poplar Square Chase over course and distance and then in the Hilly Way Chase at Cork.

His jumping let him down, however, when he crossed the Irish Sea to line up at Kempton last month, finishing a moderate third behind Captain Chris.

Willie Mullins believes he has found a nice opportunity for his charge in this weekend's Grade Two contest but did air a note of caution about going left-handed with the seven-year-old.

"The conditions of the race suit him, but while he has won over the course and distance, he is a better horse going right-handed," said Mullins.

Toner D'Oudairies has been a model of consistency and tackles two miles again having chased home Arvika Ligeonniere when dropping back to the trip in the Tied Cottage Chase at Punchestown earlier in the month.

Trainer Gordon Elliott admits Twinlight looks hard to beat but is expecting another good showing from his Gigginstown House Stud-owned gelding.

"Willie's horse obviously looks the one to beat," said Elliott.

"We had a good run in Punchestown the last day. There is good prize-money on offer and if we pick some up we'll be delighted."

The trio is completed by last year's winner Days Hotel, trained by Henry de Bromhead.
