Ireland coach Joe Schmidt is preparing his side for what he regards as their toughest challenge in this year's Six Nations - the trip to Twickenham to face England on Saturday February 22.

Schmidt's side have won their opening two games of the tournament against Scotland and Wales and they now go in search of their first Triple Crown since 2009.

Ireland have also still to play France in Paris but it is the England match which Schmidt believes will provide their biggest remaining hurdle.

"So far we've learned that it's always going to be tough, and we've had a little bit of luck go our way too," said Schmidt.

"There are tougher games coming and probably the toughest of all coming next, at Twickenham against England."

The Ireland squad have been training in Clonmel this week but a number of them will be made available for club action this weekend.

Jack McGrath, Sean Cronin and Martin Moore are now established as Ireland's understudy front-row, but that trio will be back in Leinster action against the Dragons on Friday night.

Eoin Reddan returns for Leinster after injury, boosting Ireland's scrum-half options for the England clash, with wing Luke Fitzgerald also fit to start.
