Lyon will take on Paris St Germain in the Coupe de la Ligue final after beating Troyes 2-1 on Wednesday night.

Les Gones were heavy favourites to go through against their Ligue 2 opponents and a comfortable win looked to be on the cards as Alexandre Lacazette and Bafetimbi Gomis had them 2-0 up before the half-hour mark.

But Troyes have shown good spirit on their unlikely run to the last four and Thiago Xavier got them a goal back before the break as they made a contest of it.

They could not find an equaliser, however, and Lyon will now face PSG in the final after the Ligue 1 champions beat Nantes 2-1 on Tuesday night.
