Billy Twelvetrees: Looking to bounce back against Scotland

Billy Twelvetrees is fully focused on helping England get back to winning ways by beating Scotland at Murrayfield on Saturday.

Stuart Lancaster's side were on the cusp of victory in their Six Nations opener in Paris after battling back to lead 21-16 from an earlier 16-3 deficit, but Gael Fickou's late try saw the visitors suffer a narrow 26-24 defeat.

Next up is the Calcutta Cup clash with Scotland, who themselves are looking to bounce back from a disappointing 28-6 loss to Ireland, and Twelvetrees admits the clash is huge for both sides.

The England centre told Sky Sports: "We're fully aware now of what we have to do for the rest of the Championship - win four games and do it as well as we can.

Hugely focused

"This week is huge for us to get back on the road of winning and that's our focus. If we get the simple things well and do them right I think it will take care of itself."

"And we'll take this weekend, hugely focused on that and a massive Calcutta Cup clash for us and for the Scots it's a massive game.

"They're going to be licking their wounds after the Ireland loss as well and be hugely motivated to play at home against England and we're not going to be looking further ahead than that at the moment.
