Bowlers Rangana Herath and Shaminda Eranga will miss the rest of Sri Lanka's tour of Bangladesh through injury.

Herath has suffered a recurrence of a knee problem and Eranga strained a thigh muscle during a training session.

They combined for eight wickets in an easy win for Sri Lanka in the first Test in Dhaka, where they were victors by an innings and 248 runs.

Spinner Ajantha Mendis and seamer Nuwan Pradeep are likely to replace them for the second Test in Chittagong, which starts on Tuesday.

Opening batsman Kusal Janith Perera and all-rounder Thisara Perera have been called up to the tour squad but they will not arrive in time for the final Test - they will be available for the one-day international and Twenty20 series that follow it.
