Terry Butcher was delighted to collect a second victory over Ross County in just over a month, after goals by Michael Nelson and Jordon Forster eased Hibernian to a 2-0 triumph in the highlands.

The Global Energy Stadium has never been a happy hunting ground for Butcher but the Hibernian boss currently has no concerns about travelling there.

He said: "In five years I've tried to get a win here and in five weeks I've managed to get two - it's a nice ground for me now. That's another hoodoo out of the way.

"That's four clean sheets in six games now with only two goals against.

"Ben Williams has not had a save to make as such, although Ross County hit the frame of the goal twice but apart from that they haven't cut through us.

"We've got some experienced defenders who dealt with a lot of crosses coming into the box. Defensively it was good and we always look dangerous at set pieces."

His opposite number at County, Derek Adams, felt a bit hard done by after his side were twice denied by the woodwork.

He said: "They scored two goals from corner kicks but, other than that, there has not been much in the game.

"We caused them problems in the second half with balls into the box without getting on the end of things.

"The two goalkeepers weren't really worked this afternoon. We hit the woodwork twice and we probably feel one of them deserved to go in because of the pressure we had on Hibernian.

"But if you can't man-mark your man individually then it is going to cost you.

"We knew Hibernian's height might cause us a problem and that has happened today."
