James Tredwell says England will adapt to whatever conditions are thrown their way in tomorrow¿s fourth one day test against Australia.

Sky Bet

James Tredwell will welcome another Australian assault on his bowling in Saturday's must-win ODI in Cardiff.

The England off-spinner was carted for 60 off eight overs at Old Trafford in the only game of the series to date to produce a result.

Australia were 88-run winners in Manchester, and a similar result in the Welsh capital will end the series as a contest with one game to play.

England will not allow that to happen without a fight, according to Tredwell, who is ready for whatever the Aussies throw at him.

"We're approaching this as a semi-final/final scenario," he said. "It's a massive game, and we want to go into that last one at 1-1 with a chance to win the series.

"They came pretty hard in that game at Old Trafford. It was a plan by the looks of it, and on another day it could have been 3-20 after four overs.

"If they come pretty hard it gives me a chance to get a few wickets, hopefully.

"You just try and make it as hard for them as possible - batten down the hatches and challenge them to hit you in places they don't want to.

"The other day it came off for them, hopefully it might be my day at some stage in the series."

See if England can square the ODI series and set up a decider when they take on Australia in Cardiff, live on Sky Sports 2 from 9.30 am on Saturday.
