Super League champions Leeds Rhinos can move a step closer to securing fourth spot in the table with success over the Salford City Reds on Friday.

The Rhinos are currently six points clear of St Helens with four matches left to play, while Salford are second from bottom with just 11 points to their name from 23 outings.

Leeds claimed the two points in last Thursday's success over the struggling London Broncos while the City Reds were put to the sword by league leaders Huddersfield on Sunday.

The Rhinos will be without Australian back row Brett Delaney after he picked up a knee injury against Tony Rea's men, while centre Joel Moon misses out against his former club with an ankle injury.

Debut

Academy player Elliott Minchella could make his debut and join the likes of Liam Sutcliffe, Jordan Baldwinson, Alex Foster, James Duckworth and Thomas Minns in appearing in the first team this season.

Brad Singleton, who missed out against London Broncos last week is included in the 19-man squad after recovering from a hamstring strain while Jimmy Keinhorst has been recalled.

Brian Noble's men are back on home soil following a 46-4 loss to the Giants on Sunday. The City Reds have won two of their last four in Super League, including a 16-12 triumph over the Catalan Dragons.

Salford have been boosted by the availability of Lee Jewitt and Jake Emmitt for the visit of Brian McDermott's side, however they will be without experienced hooker Wayne Godwin.

Salford City Reds: Gaskell, D. Williams, McGoldrick, Gibson, Evalds, Sneyd, Fages, A. Walne, Jewitt, Emmitt, Davies, Dixon, Wild, J. Walne, Hope, Owen, Davidson, Brotherton, Godwin.

Leeds Rhinos: Hardaker, Jones-Bishop, Watkins, Hall, Burrow, Leuluai, McShane, Peacock, Ablett, Sinfield, Bailey, Kirke, Clarkson, Moore, Keinhorst, Singleton, Sutcliffe, Foster, Minchella.
