The Wolves are just one point adrift of the Giants at the summit and enter Round 23 with five successive league victories to their name, while the Tigers welcome the third place side following back-to-back defeats.
Tigers head coach Daryl Powell has been forced to make three changes to the 19-man squad which lost to the Giants last time out, with injuries hitting the squad.
Knee problems mean both Oliver Holmes and Jonathan Walker are unavailable for selection while prop Ben Davies has since been released from the club.
Prop Ryan Boyle is back in Powell's 19-man squad following a suspension while Keith Mason and Charlie Martin are also back in action.
Bounce back
Meanwhile the Wolves will be looking to bounce back after suffering a shock Challenge Cup exit at the hands of Hull last weekend.
Despite that, Wolves coach Tony Smith will hope his side can return to form as the Super League run-in begins with just five games left to play.
Smith has lost Mike Cooper and Brett Hodgson to knee injuries while Michael Monaghan is also absent from the travelling party.
The trio are replaced by Brad Dwyer, James Laithwaite and Tyrone McCarthy as the Wolves continue their bid for top spot in Super League.
Smith's men are level on points with second-place Wigan and just one point adrift of leaders Huddersfield as the competition for places gets fierce.
