Eight players have been charged with punching in the wake of last week's Super League matches.

Castleford's Grant Millington and Larne Patrick of Huddersfield are facing grade A charges following their skirmish on Sunday.

Both have the option of entering early guilty pleas which would spare them suspensions.

The remaining six players charged by the Rugby Football League were involved in incidents during Salford's win over Catalan Dragons on Friday.

Salford's Darrell Griffin is charged with a grade C offence and can enter an early guilty plea along with three Dragons players - Remi Casty, Ian Henderson and Gregory Mounis.

But Reds props Jacob Emmitt and Lee Jewitt must face a disciplinary hearing on Tuesday.
