Shaun Lunt: Taking nothing for granted ahead of Leeds Rhinos' test
Huddersfield Giants' Shaun Lunt will not be taking a young Leeds Rhinos side for granted when the two sides clash at the John Smith's Stadium on Sunday.
The Giants have already beaten the reigning Super League champions twice this year - 32-8 in the Super League in March and the 24-8 Challenge Cup win last month.
"They've got really good replacements for those who are ruled out, and we can't afford to take them for granted."
An injury crisis sees the Rhinos currently missing eight senior players but Lunt, who spent time on loan at Leeds last season, knows the youngsters being given a chance in Brian McDermott's side can step up.
He told the Huddersfield Evening Examiner: "Even with all these injuries, Leeds are still a great side.
"They've got really good replacements for those who are ruled out, and we can't afford to take them for granted.

"I worked with them during my time at Leeds last season, so I know how talented they are.
"I know it would be fantastic to complete a hat trick of wins over Leeds this year and that we're the favourites to do it.
"But if we think their youngsters are just going to roll over and die, we're going to have to think again.
"This is their chance to shine and we know they'll give it everything to try and impress."
