Argentina captain Felipe Contepomi has overcome illness to be named at fly-half for Saturday's second Test against England.

Contepomi's switch from inside centre is one of five changes the Pumas have made from last weekend's 32-3 defeat to Stuart Lancaster's men in Salta.

Guillermo Roan comes in at loosehead prop in a bid to sure up and Argentina scrum which struggled in the first Test.

Julio Faras Cabello, who played for London Welsh last season, has moved from the back row to the second row with Rodrigo Baez starting at blindside flanker.

Nicolas Vergallo will partner Contepomi in the half-backs and Gabriel Ascarate comes into the side at inside centre. Belisario Agulla, brother of Bath's Horacio Agulla, starts on the wing.

Argentina: M Bustos Moyano, B Agulla, G Tiesi, G Ascarate, M Montero; F Contepomi (capt), N Vergallo; G Roan, M Garca Veiga, M Bustos, J Faras Cabello, M Galarza, R Baez, B Macome, T Leonardi.
