Castleford's in-form winger Justin Carney faces a third suspension of the season after being cited for foul play.

The 30-year-old Australian has already missed four games this season and is in danger of missing two more after being called to appear in front of the Rugby Football League's disciplinary committee on Tuesday.

Carney has been accused of another dangerous throw on London Broncos forward Shane Rodney during Castleford's 30-30 draw at the Twickenham Stoop on Saturday.

His suspension would be a big loss to the Tigers as he has scored seven tries in their last five games and has started to show why they were so keen to bring him to England from the Sydney Roosters last off-season.

The RFL's match-review panel, which brought the citing, also issued a formal caution to Wakefield forward Taulima Tautai for making dangerous contact with Wigan full-back Sam Tomkins in Sunday's 36-23 defeat by the Warriors.
