Chanaka Welegedara: Sidelined by ankle problems

Chanaka Welegedara has been ruled out of Sri Lanka's forthcoming ICC Champions Trophy campaign.

The Sri Lanka seam bowler has an ankle injury and will be replaced in the squad by Dilhara Lokuhettige.

Lokuhettige returns to the one-day international scene at the age of 32 after an eight-year absence.

He will now come into contention for Sri Lanka's opening Group A game against New Zealand in Cardiff on June 9.
