Warwickshire fast bowler Oliver Hannon-Dalby will need a spell on the sidelines after breaking his wrist against Somerset last week.

Hannon-Dalby, the Bears' No 11, spent 21 overs at the crease in a last-wicket stand with Rikki Clarke to earn a battling draw on the final day.

The former Yorkshire bowler was hit on the wrist during his battling innings and subsequent scans have confirmed a break, though it is not yet known how long he will be out of action.

Captain Jim Troughton suffered a recurrence of a shoulder problem and all-rounder Clarke pulled his hamstring in the same game and all three were ruled out of the match with Sussex.

They trio join Keith Barker (side strain) and Ian Westwood (ankle) on the sidelines.
