Manvinder Bisla hit 51 not out as Kolkata Knight Riders ended a three-match losing run with a six-wicket win over Kings XI Punjab.

Set a target of 150, opening batsman Bisla struck three fours and three sixes in his 44-ball contribution to see the Knight Riders home with 10 deliveries to spare.

He received good support from Jacques Kallis (37) and Eoin Morgan (42) after Kings XI seamer Azhar Mahmood (3-35) had done some damage with the new ball.

Earlier, Manan Vohra top scored with 31 in the Kings XI's total of 149-6 after they chose to bat at Eden Gardens.

Five of the top six made more than 20, while South African all-rounder Kallis picked up 2-14 from his four overs.
