Worcester centre Josh Matavesi has been handed a four-week ban for committing a dangerous tackle against Saracens.

The suspension will run from 16 April to 6 May and from 31 May 31 to 6 June, and he will be free to play again on 7 June.

The second period covers Fiji's matches against Japan and Canada in the Pacific Nations Cup.

The 22-year-old Fiji international pleaded guilty to the charge of a dangerous tackle on Neil de Kock in the Aviva Premiership match on 14 April, which Saracens won 47-17.

The case, brought following by a report from RFU citing officer Alan Mansell, was heard on Tuesday by a panel of John Brennan (chair), Peter Howard and John Loughton.
