Phil Parkinson does not expect a repeat of the scenes which marred Rotherham manager Steve Evans' last visit to Bradford.

Evans was in charge of Crawley on his previous trip to Valley Parade in March last year when five players were sent off following a post-match brawl.

Both clubs were found guilty by the Football Association of failing to control their players during the League Two match, with the Bantams fined £9,000 and the Reds £18,000.

Evans was later handed a £3,000 fine and a six-game touchline ban for his involvement after an FA inquiry that took effect the following September, four months after he had taken charge of the Millers.

"We've got to make sure our focus is on the game and on the touchline that I'm focused on my own team," Parkinson said ahead of Tuesday night's clash with Rotherham.

"What I need to do, and what Steve needs to do, is to make changes and reorganise in situations and I don't want anything to distract us.

"The players will certainly be focused on their game and the supporters need to concentrate on getting behind the team because that's always important and there's enough on the game already.

"These are the games we want to be involved in and what the supporters over the last four or five years have been desperate for and now we've got a couple in just a few days."

Bradford currently occupy the final play-off spot, one point ahead of eighth-placed Exeter with a game in hand, and five behind Rotherham, who could climb into an automatic promotion place with victory.

"It's an exciting game for us," Parkinson added. "It's a Yorkshire derby and that alone always adds something to the occasion, but the fact that both teams have got so much to play for makes it a really good night to look forward to."
