Huddersfield will hand a debut to recent recruit Brad Dwyer in Sunday's clash with Hull KR at the John Smith's Stadium.

Hooker Dwyer has joined the Giants on a loan deal from Super League rivals Warrington and will get an immediate chance to make an impression for his new club.

"Brad Dwyer will play because that is what I have brought him in for. He will add some freshness in and around the middle of the field for us," Huddersfield coach Paul Anderson told the club's official website.

"He is a bundle of energy, a competitor and he is what we need. We need to hold a bit of energy in the park and he can do it, so I must thank Tony Smith and Warrington for that."

Anderson is also able to welcome back prop Eorl Crabtree from suspension, with Stuart Fielden making way from the team that won at Castleford last time out.

Second rower Ukuma Ta'ai is also included in the home side's 19-man party but fellow forward Jason Chan remains on the sidelines with a knee injury.

Injury problems

Hull KR, meanwhile, have plenty of injury problems ahead of their trip on the M62 to Huddersfield.

Graeme Horne fractured a cheekbone in the 22-14 win over St Helens, an injury which has since required surgery, while prop Evarn Tuimavave suffered a torn calf in the same game.

George Griffin missed the match against Saints due to a groin problem, joining Ryan O'Hara (Achilles) and Sean Gleeson (back) in a crowded treatment room at Craven Park.

With stand-off Travis Burns also still banned, coach Craig Sandercock has called up Liam Salter, James Green and Chris Heil to fill out his squad.

Huddersfield: Grix, George, Cudjoe, Wardle, McGillvary, Brough, Robinson, Crabtree, Lunt, Kopczak, Ferres, Faiumu, Lawrence, Patrick, Ta'ai, Murphy, Cording, Ferguson, Dwyer

Hull KR: Salter, Brown, Walker, Green, Griffin, Paterson, Mika, Heil, Welham, Cox, Hall, Paea, Carlile, Lovegrove, Dobson, Hodgson, Eden, Beaumont, Hodgson
